well im going as Robin to a superhero party (Batmans sidekick NOT Robin Hood) and im a young so i dont want anything slutty. If anyone could provide links to good looking female costumes on the net or provide ideas on how to make the original RObin costume more girly becasue my moms a dressmaker and she might be able to make a costume for me. If someone could leave a detailed description on a more girly Robin costume it would be much appreciated.

just get a regular Robin costume...and make it feminine.
Some ideas:
Add a skirt.
Tailor the top to fit your body well...so it doesn't look like a boy.
Make the cape longer and more flowy.
Add some frill and def wear heels!

My Friends and I want to go to the next renaissance faire as armored warriors. Were looking for a way to make some really authentic armor but we came up dry with our web searches. Any help would be appreciated. We are looking for chest and back plates, Gauntlets, and leg armor, and possibly helmets. Help is greatly appreciated.
This site is a bit extensive, I got lost in it the first few times I looked at it and I was only looking at the herb pages...so I went straight to the page I think will help you most rather than giving you the homepage and letting you flounder through on your own. Hope this gives you some ideas. I don't know how to make authentic armor without hiring a blacksmith or armorer. But I've always wanted to go to a faire myself, though I'm sure my gown was easier to make than your armor will be. Check it out...

you can use fabric paint to paint a coat of arms on it and you are good to go.
for women it should be ankle length for men mid thigh to knee length, and then wear a belt around the outside at the waist

I need a robin costume that's adult size. I don't want to spend a lot of money; therefore, I can't just go out and buy one. I need one that could be made at home with as little supplies that need to be bought as possible. Remember this is for the bird type of Robin, not Robin and Batman or Robin Hood. Thanks!
I need this for a concert. We're doing the song "Rockin' Robin", and I'm playing the bass, so the choir decided that I could dress up as a robin. I'm not embarrassed easily so I don't care how weird I look in it.
Imagination, and using what you have. I would go with a brown suit and a red undershirt, if you have them. For extra detail, you could get a tie and cover it with red feathers. Also, you could try making your hair look like a plume of feathers. Good luck!
